The San Francisco Chinese New Year Parade
February 2006

For the second, consecutive year, SF Flying Eagle members and friends joined together to assist organizers of the 2006 Chinese New Year Parade. Meeting early Saturday morning on the outskirts of Chinatown in the basement of the Panini Building, our volunteer crew unloaded boxes containing various gifts. The boxes were sorted and arranged into a production line and, soon thereafter, our volunteers were hard at work filling up the gift bags.
Fortunately, our Eagle members were confined solely to the task of preparatory work for the parade. We would hate to think what would happen if they actually participated in the parade. Well, actually we do know what would happen, as the picture above attests.
The SF Flying Eagles organization gratefully acknowledges and thanks the following Eagle members:
- Zachary, Paula and Rudy Concepcion
- Amy and Rosemary Domergue
- Jeffrey, Megan, Pat and David Fu
- Cerise, Michele and Courtney Lee
- Aaron, Natalie and Art Yan
